About Daniel McLellan, DDS
Dr. Daniel McLellan grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1996. During his college days, he was a whitewater kayaking instructor and guide. He spent the following two years after school as a Peace Officer in San Rafael, California before moving to Maryland where he taught in the Baltimore City Public School system before entering University of Maryland. Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After completing his Dental Boards, he entered into private practice in Southern Maryland and maintained a position on the Dean's Faculty at University of Maryland Dental School, where he supervised and instructed dental students in community outreach programs. Dr. McLellan is fluent in Spanish and has served as an interpreter in several community outreach health centers.
Dr. McLellan joined Dr. Finlay in practice in the Spring of 2006 and brings to the practice his professional talents and relaxed chairside manner. He is also certified in invisalign Orthodontic Technique. Invisalign is an innovative orthodontic technique that utilizes the use of a series of clear aligners through the use of CAD CAM technology that directs the movement of teeth in an incremental fashion until the teeth are in the desired position. It is a very effective process that is perfect for adults that want a straighter smile but don't want the traditional approach utilizing wires and brackets to move teeth. Dr. McLellan has also studied at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. He shares Dr. Finlay's passion for continuing education and strives to provide the finest care available today.
Dr. McLellan has 2 dogs, Jake & El Guapo, which they adopted from the shelter. He is an avid golfer.
